Ice Conditions For Stillwater, Shepard Road and Franklin Avenue Bridge

I had to run out to Stillwater today so I went up the river and snapped a photo of the farmed ice across the river. Then I went down the line on the way back finally stopping at Franklin where I did a bit of bouldering before going back to the office.


Twin Cities Sports Writer and Shock Jock Promote Hatred Against Cyclists.

By way of publishing an article by shock jock, Joe Soucheray, on December 27th the Pioneer Press seems to have inadvertently promoted hatred against cyclists.


Stillwater Marathon Approved!

On Tuesday the Stillwater city council unanimously approved a proposal for a marathon to take place during Lumberjack Days on Memorial Day Weekend. The marathon will start and finish in Stillwater and feature a full marathon, 20-mile race, half marathon and a 12k race.

Sim City like flash game for people who love camping

I came across this game today called YoudaCamper. It is kinda like Sim City but free, you build camp sites and place people in them. It is not really my kind of camping but if you are looking to kill some time at work today this will do it.

Today I got an email from my first climbing partner Chris, that said, "Dude, did we go to Utah in the ‘70’s?" There was a copy of this photo attached to the email. Believe it or not this was only about 6 years ago. I thought I remembered coming into climbing kind of backwards. We were both ice climbing before we were rock climbing. Well, maybe I'm remembering things wrong.

A few months ago my roommate got cable TV. I haven't had cable TV in 12 years. I don't watch much television. Partially because its boring and partially because I think it makes people stupid. Today I'm going deliver case and point.
