Sim City like flash game for people who love camping

I came across this game today called YoudaCamper. It is kinda like Sim City but free, you build camp sites and place people in them. It is not really my kind of camping but if you are looking to kill some time at work today this will do it.

Pimp Your Ride For Visibility!

Being seen on your bike at night is essential for survival. If people in cars can't see you they can't avoid hitting you. You should always use lights at night. Its the smart thing to do. Here is another thing you can do to make yourself seen at night.

"Dude, did we go to Utah in the ‘70’s?"

Today I got an email from my first climbing partner Chris, that said, "Dude, did we go to Utah in the ‘70’s?" There was a copy of this photo attached to the email. Believe it or not this was only about 6 years ago. I thought I remembered coming into climbing kind of backwards. We were both ice climbing before we were rock climbing. Well, maybe I'm remembering things wrong.

Pine Needle Tea May Be Poisonous!

A few months ago my roommate got cable TV. I haven't had cable TV in 12 years. I don't watch much television. Partially because its boring and partially because I think it makes people stupid. Today I'm going deliver case and point.

Kicking it oldschool

So I came across this video that was shot recently with Tony Hawk and some of his crew from back in the 1980's.
With A "The Search for Animal Chin" styled ramp and some of the old Bones Brigade crew. The only thing left was to grab some old boards and hit the ramp. I may just dig out my old Powell Peralta scull and bones board and bring back the acid drop!.

Camping for the sake of camping?

This is going to sound blasphemous but there are a few things in the outdoors that I just don't like doing just for the sake of doing them. One is camping and the other is snowshoeing. I won't go into the snowshoeing part much except to say that for me its always been a mode of transport as a necessity to get somewhere else to do something else. Really its part of an adventure package.

Buck Hill in MN. is making snow.

No E.T.A. yet on when they will be open but as you can see from the image below they are making snow.

Free Crazy Creek Hexagon Light Backpacking Chair Location

Crazy Creek Long Back Chair
Found by Phil at about 9:30 p.m.

Oh that was fun! Thanks Jepp!

I did have a little trouble finding the exact spot
with only the printed google map and a picture
of the tree. Ended up with a small new scratch
on my new trek MTB and a bloody ankle from my
pedals.

I would have gotten it earlier, but I stopped by
humms for some old style.

Thanks!

Phil
Between Photos for map and harness. Yell to porch or look under trash can if after 10 p.m.
